About Us
Mather Roofing Ltd opened for business at 66 Beauchamp Street Linden as a Gerard dealer for AHI in 1991. The company started with just two employees – Kerry and Lynda Mather as owners. By 1998 the business had grown to include 8 roofing contractors, and also Linda Kortegast joined the company as receptionist and administrator.
The company changed its name to Wellington Lightweight Roofing Ltd in 2004, remaining at the same premises. Joe Tavite became a partner in the business, the number of roofing contractors has increased over the years to 19.
The company has now moved to new premises at Unit 4, 55 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua.
